Surgeries are by appointment. Consultation times may vary according to demands. EMERGENCIESIf you are confronted by a serious problem such as acute chest pain or severe bleeding, call an ambulance (tel: 999) before calling the surgery. HOME VISITSPatients are requested to telephone before 10.00am if a visit is required that day. Emergency visits only will be arranged after that time. Please give the receptionist as much information as possible to enable the doctor to allocate priority to house calls. Please remember that several patients can be seen at the surgery in the time that it takes to do a home visit. A doctor will generally telephone you prior to a visit. WEEKEND AND NIGHT COVERWhen the surgery is closed please call 0118 936 5390. If you require medical advice please call NHS Direct on 0845 4647 (24-hour service). DISABLED ACCESSAt the front and rear of the surgery, reserved car parking spaces for the disabled are marked. Wheelchair access to the building is via the front entrance. Patient services are provided at ground floor level. A disabled patients' WC is provided. |
